Russia uses military warehouses in Transnistria to smuggle weapons - GUR
The Russian Federation uses ammunition depots on the territory of Transnistria to smuggle weapons.
According to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, every year mobilization exercises are held there with a task force of Russian troops deployed on this territory.
During the exercises, defensive and counter-offensive actions are practiced using ammunition from warehouses in the village of Kolbasnaya. Part of the ammunition is used for combat training, part, according to military intelligence, for smuggling, - Vadym Skibitsky, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, said on the TV channel Present Time.
According to him, the current situation in Transnistria testifies to the readiness of the Russian Federation to use the territory occupied 30 years ago as an additional springboard for aggression not only against Ukraine, but also for possible military actions against the Republic of Moldova.

There is a serious struggle going on between the authorities and the special services of the Russian Federation are working very actively. The terrorist acts committed on the territory of the PMR were aimed at forcing the Pridnestrovian leadership to agree to the expansion of the presence of Russian troops, Skibitsky said.
He noted that they will be presented as a threat to the population of the region and a signal to the leadership of the Republic of Moldova to abandon the pro-European policy.
The main goal is to leave this region completely under the control of Moscow, as it has been trying to do for 30 years, - said the representative of the GUR.
According to him, as far as the terrorist attacks themselves are concerned, this is a characteristic feature of the FBB of the Russian Federation.
