Rafael Grossi, head of the IAEA, presented the safety plan for the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant.

This was reported by the Centre for Strategic Communications and Information Security.

According to official information, the occupiers are torturing employees. Those employees who refuse to sign a contract with the Russian company Rosatom.

Despite threats, torture, blackmail and continuous intimidation Ukrainians at Zaporizhzhya NPP hold themselves upright and refuse to cooperate with the enemy.

Meanwhile Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi recently presented a security plan for Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant to the UN Security Council.

This is a set of principles that Grossi agreed upon with Ukrainian and Russian leaders after his visit to Zaporizhzhia in September 2022.

The plan he announced consists of five principles:

  • No attacks by or against the ZNPP, in particular targeting the reactor spent nuclear fuel storage facility, other critical infrastructure or personnel.
  • UZNPP must not be used as a storage facility or base for heavy weapons such as multiple rocket launchers, artillery systems and ammunition, or tanks or military personnel.
  • The electricity supply to the ZNPP must not be compromised.
  • All structures, systems and components necessary for the safe and reliable operation of the WPPP must be protected against attacks or acts of sabotage.
  • No measures should be taken that undermine these principles.

At the same time it is worth recalling that the Russians use Zaporizhzhya NPP as a logistics base and covertly conduct rotations.

And employees on duty shifts, who are supposed to inspect power units at least once or twice a week, are not allowed into the controlled territory.

The PDA reports that five to 20 vehicles may be present near each power unit during one day. There are reports that tightly packed trucks may contain ammunition and explosives.
