Russia shells maternity hospital in Zaporozhye: newborn baby killed

This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Administration, Oleksandr Starukh.

During the night, the Russians launched a missile attack on the maternity ward of Volnyanskyy hospital in Zaporizhzhya Region. As a result of the shelling, an infant was killed.

Grief overwhelms our hearts - a baby, who had just been born into the world, was killed.

According to investigators, one of the missiles hit the hospital's maternity hospital, killing the baby and injuring the labouring mother and doctor. A private sector of the town was also damaged by the enemy's shelling.

Rescuers are now working at the scene.
