Russian propagandists claim Putin was in the occupied territories of Luhansk and Kherson oblasts
In none of the videos published is it possible to pinpoint exactly where Putin was actually.
This is what Russian propaganda media claim.
According to them, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin visited the headquarters of the Dnipro and Vostok group of troops in the Kherson and Luhansk directions.
To make it more convincing, propagandists published a video of each location. Only in the video it is impossible to determine exactly where Putin really was. There were no clear identifying marks.
Putin's press service also issued a statement:
"Vladimir Putin at the headquarters of the Dnepr troop grouping in the Kherson region heard reports from Colonel-General Mikhail Teplinsky, the commander of the airborne troop grouping, Colonel-General Oleg Makarevich and other military commanders.
The video shows Putin first arriving supposedly in the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region. There he is in some village, surrounded by guards and greeted by military personnel. Next, the footage is already from the headquarters, where a large banner simply reads "Grouping of Dnepr troops. Command Post."
It is the same with Luhansk oblast. Putin first drives through some military camp, a large number of vehicles, helicopters and planes with the letters "Z". Then he enters the headquarters with the military, where a banner of the "Vostok" group hangs.
