AFU general staff: Russian Federation may increase number of missile attacks on Ukraine in autumn
The WSU has indications that it will start serial production in June.
This was reported by the deputy head of the Main Operational Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksiy Gromov, during a briefing.
It should be noted that the Russian Federation is reportedly planning to start serial production of strategic air-launched cruise missiles of the X-50 type this June, which will allow the Kremlin to step up missile attacks on the territory of our country in autumn," Gromov said.
Gromov also said that since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russia has lost more than half of its stockpile of long-range missiles. The shortage could jeopardise the enemy's ability to defend itself on the border with NATO.
At the same time, according to available information, since February 2022 Russia has used up at least 50 percent of its stock of long-range anti-aircraft missiles, having used at least 8,000 such missiles mainly of the ground-to-ground class," Gromov explained.
