Ukrainian hackers, who may be related to the SBU, have destroyed the IT infrastructure of Rosvodokanal. This was reported by journalist Andriy Tsaplienko.

Hackers of the group Blackjack, probably with the support of cyber specialists of the SBU carried out a powerful cyber operation and destroyed the IT-infrastructure of "Rosvodokanal", - stated in the message.

During the cyberattack, Ukrainian hackers encrypted more than 6,000 computers and deleted more than 50 TB of data - internal document management, corporate email, cyber defence, backups and the like.

"According to my sources who provided these images, the SBU is already analysing 1.5 TB of downloaded data of Rosvodokanal, Russia's largest private company, which provided water supply to 7 million consumers," Tsaplienko said.

The work of Rosvodokanal is now blocked.
