Today it became known that in the Kiev region a man raped and tried to kill a minor.
The event took place on 9 August in Fastivskyi district. At that time, the local police received a report that a bloody girl was lying on the road
It turned out that the perpetrator dragged the 17-year-old girl into a wooded area, handcuffed her and raped her. She tried to run away several times, but the attacker stabbed her 4 times in the neck and back with a knife with the intent to kill to cover up the crime. The girl managed to run out onto the motorway where she was spotted by drivers and help was summoned.
The offender has been apprehended and has been reported on suspicion of serious offences. The suspect faces life imprisonment.
