Putin will go to China for a four-day visit

Kremlin chief Vladimir Putin will pay a four-day visit to China, the plans were revealed by the presenter of the programme "Moscow. Kremlin. Putin" Pavel Zarubin on Russia 1 TV channel.
According to him, Putin will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit to be held in Tianjin from August 31 to September 1, and will also attend a military parade in Beijing. The Chinese capital will also host large-scale talks between Russian and Chinese delegations.

What will be the topic of the talks is not reported.
Earlier, Chinese Deputy Foreign Minister Liu Bin said that the SCO summit will be attended by heads of state and government delegations from more than 20 countries, as well as representatives of 10 international organisations.
Another pro-Kremlin outlet RT wrote that Chinese President Xi Jinping will hold a meeting with leaders of foreign countries and international organisations on the banks of the Haihe River.
The last time Putin travelled to China in May last year, his visit lasted two days. Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Russia in May this year.
