Checks of military enlistment centres: 21 people reported as suspicious

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) has opened 106 criminal proceedings concerning violations of the work of military enlistment offices and military medical commissions. Suspicion has been reported against 21 individuals.

This was reported by the first deputy defence minister of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Oleksandr Pavlyuk, in Telegram.

The DBI is also actively working. Since the beginning of the war investigates 106 criminal proceedings on violations during the work of TCC and SP, military medical commissions. Reported suspicion of 21 people. 8 indictments against 16 people have been sent to court," Pavliuk said.

According to him, the Ministry of Defence has received more than 2,300 appeals about improper work in military commissions. The complaints concern various issues, in particular, corruption and the quality of work organisation. It is noted that each appeal is processed individually.

Working groups of the Ministry of Defence, which are located in the regions, have also been set up to carry out inspections. They analyse the experience of military commissars' service, reputation, information in the public space, etc.

Work is continuing on proposals for changes to regulations. In addition, the priority is digitalisation of the work of manning centres," Pavlyuk added.

We shall remind you that inspections of military recruitment centres began after journalists discovered that Odessa military commander Yevhen Borisov had a luxury property in Spain. All military commissars in Ukraine should be inspected on the president's instructions. The results should be expected at the end of July.
