Prime Minister Sviridenko showed a photo of the inside of the Cabinet after the Russian morning attack

For the first time since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russians have entered the Cabinet building.

A fire has already been put out in the building of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine damaged by Russian shelling. There are no casualties. This was reported by Prime Minister Yuliya Sviridenko and published a photo of a scorched corridor of the government building where rescuers are working.

The Ukrainian prime minister said that the Russian terror would not stop the work of the government and the destruction would be restored. At the same time, she emphasised that another Russian attack on Ukraine had killed civilians. She said that over the night of 6-7 September, Russian shelling across the country killed four people and injured more than 44, which, in her opinion, shows Russia's unwillingness for a peaceful settlement.

The prime minister called on international partners and states of the world to "turn disappointment with Moscow's actions into real assistance to Ukraine", stressing the need to strengthen air defence systems to protect the country's skies and energy infrastructure, especially before winter, as well as to increase sanctions pressure on Russia to limit the resources of its military machine.

According to the data, from the evening of 6 September and overnight, the Russian Federation launched 823 means of air attack on Ukraine: 810 strike UAVs and imitators, 9 Iskander-K cruise missiles and 4 Iskander-M ballistic missiles. Most of the attacks were intercepted by air defence forces, but 9 missiles and 56 UAVs were recorded hitting 37 locations, with debris falling in 8 other areas.

At least two people were killed in Kiev, more than 20 were injured, and residential buildings and the Cabinet of Ministers building were damaged. Three men were injured in Kryvyy Rih, and casualties were also recorded in Sumy Region and Zaporizhzhya.
