Prigozhin confirmed the information about the creation of Militia Training Centers in the Kursk and Belgorod regions
The head of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, will personally finance all the centers so that the locals "were fully prepared to defend their territories.
The private military company Wagner, run by Russian businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin, has announced the creation of "centres" for training and managing the people's militia in the Kursk and Belgorod regions, Novaya Gazeta reported, citing Prigozhin's press service.
According to Prigozhin, the "militia" should consist of the residents of these oblasts, and local businesses will be involved in providing the supplies
He also called for the mobilization to the front of a fourth of Russia's adult male population:
If you own a small factory that employs 100 people, and 50 of them are sexually mature males, 25% should serve in the trenches and 75% should continue their working life. And so it goes round and round - one week in the trenches, three at home and in production
At the same time, he suggested that as an incentive "for civic position", high state honours should be awarded to enterprises that would provide volunteers to the front.
Prigozhin, known as a businessman and "Putin's cook", personally agitated "convicts" to go and kill Ukrainians and recruited over a thousand prisoners.
It is noted that Prigozhin has recently continued to build up power in Russia and runs the "Wagnerites" without direct control of the Russian Ministry of Defence
