In Kyiv region, 15 mass grave sites have been identified, most of all in Buchanska community. 180 bodies of local residents were exhumed from mass graves.

The identification of civilians killed by Russians was reported by Kiev Region police spokeswoman Yana Yermolenko in a story by theRada TV channel.

The head of the ritual service of Buchanska community Serhiy Kaplichnyy said that during the occupation helped with burials.

First we dug one mass grave, where we buried 57 bodies, which were taken from the morgue. There were many people shot, so another grave was dug, and the occupants gave permission to collect the bodies and bury them," Kaplichnyy said.

Bucha mayor Anatoliy Fedoruk said that the exhumation showed that 90 per cent of the bodies of people killed by the Russians had bullet holes in the head and chest.
