Helped Russians occupy Severodonetsk and fled to Transcarpathia: SBU detains enemy agent

An enemy henchman who facilitated the occupation of Severodonetsk in Luhansk Region has been detained in Transcarpathia. He was informed of suspicion of state treason.

This was reported by the Security Service of Ukraine.

At the beginning of March 2022, the so-called "lnr Ministry of state security" recruited a malefactor who was waiting for the occupation of Luhansk region.

The suspect fulfilled his criminal tasks and passed information about the locations and routes of movement of the military personnel of the Armed forces of Ukraine on the territory of Severodonetsk, - reported in the SBU.

In addition, the attacker passed to the occupants data on the location of Ukrainian weapons. To do this, the man marked places on maps and gave the data to the occupants via messenger.

The suspect also passed information about residents of Severodonetsk to "expand the agent network in the occupied territory".

Intelligence information the enemy, in particular, used to carry out targeted air strikes on Ukrainian facilities, as well as to prepare combat operations to capture Severodonetsk, - added in the SBU.

When active hostilities began in the city, the suspect left for Transcarpathia, where he was exposed by the Security Service. Currently, the man is reported on suspicion and selected a measure of restraint in the form of detention.

Earlier, Socialportal reported that Russians were forcing local residents to dig trenches in temporarily occupied Severodonetsk.
