Poland will soon receive its first Abrams tanks.

This was reported by Polskie Radio.

Polish journalists refer to the words of Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, who said he wanted to open a service centre for American Abrams tanks in Europe and produce depleted uranium shells for them.

According to Morawiecki, security is now measured by the quality of military equipment and its availability

The statement was made on the eve of Poland receiving its first Abrams tanks.

The Abrams tanks are an armoured curtain that will protect the eastern part of Poland, and with it additional American business will come to the country.

In April 2022, Poland signed a contract to purchase 250 M1A2 Abrams tanks in the most advanced SEPv3 version for the Polish army. The country also ordered 116 Abrams tanks, which until then had been at the disposal of the US Army.
