Polish Foreign Ministry urged Polish citizens to urgently leave Belarus
A Pole with a certain "secret document" was detained in Belarus.
The Polish Foreign Ministry recommends all its citizens to urgently leave Belarus and refrain from travelling there. This was announced by Polish Foreign Ministry spokesman Pawel Wroński at a briefing on 5 September.
They noted that it should be done "by any means.
Take these warnings as seriously as possible," said Foreign Ministry spokesman Pawel Vronski.
He stressed that Belarus is neither a democratic state, nor a friendly country for Poland, so Poles may face serious problems there.
Earlier it became known about the detention of Polish citizen Grzegorz Havel, born in 1998, a resident of Krakow, in the city of Lepel, Belarus. The Belarusian security services say that he was found a printed document with the "Secret" under the title "Order on the organisation of training and participation in the exercise "West-2025".
In addition, several citizens of Belarus were detained together with Havel, whom the authorities accuse of helping him for monetary rewards, and in some cases - for gifts in the form of coffee and chocolate.
The Polish Foreign Ministry assured that it would provide all the necessary assistance to the detained citizen.
