Border guards showed the training of "four-legged patrol" puppies (video)
Border guards of the State Border Guard Service showed classes on training service puppies for border guard duty.
The video was published by the press service of the State Border Service.
Puppies start training from the age of two months. They are somewhat clumsy at the initial training sessions, so they take their first steps together with a cynologist.
Today they are just little fluffy puppies, but very soon they will become real service dogs. It takes a lot of effort to bring up a puppy into a strong and brave defender, and this is the job of real professionals - dog handlers, - said the border guards.
The future four-legged guards willingly learn, overcome obstacles and fulfil basic commands, for which they are rewarded with affection and praise from their mentors.
Later, the four-legged partners will move on to more serious exercises, where they will learn to identify explosives, drugs, and also to apprehend intruders in tandem with a kinologist.
