Orbán believes that the West made a mistake by starting to help Ukraine.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, a Putin sympathiser, has said that the West should not help Ukraine and that it will lose to Russia. Orban said this during his speech, the video of which was published in X by Hungarian government spokesman Zoltan Kovacs.

In particular, Orban said that in 2014, after the occupation of Crimea by Russia, the West made a "strategically correct" decision when it reached the conclusion of the Minsk agreements and the freezing of the war in Donbass. Now, the Hungarian politician believes that the EU made a "strategically wrong" decision to help Ukraine in its war with Russia.

It is now clear that Ukraine will not be able to defeat Russia on the battlefield. No political changes in Moscow are to be expected either.... We have to look at reality," Orban said.

It is known that the Hungarian prime minister has been saying since the beginning of the full-scale war invasion that Ukraine has no chance to win.

We would like to point out that the head of the Hungarian government believes that Ukraine has no place in the EU and said that his country would prevent it. He also threatened to block all European Union assistance to Ukraine if the EU leaders do not agree to revise their strategy of supporting Ukraine.
