The occupiers trained to leave Zaporizhzhya quickly because of a likely Ukrainian counter-offensive.

This was reported by the head of the National Nuclear Energy Generating Company Enerhoatom, Petro Kotin, to Radio Liberty.

According to Kotin, the Russian occupants at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant in Energodar are preparing for a possible evacuation. They have even already been training in case they have to pack quickly and leave because of a Ukrainian counterattack.

They are all preparing for evacuation and have even trained there to pack very quickly and to load all this property that they have looted and to leave the station at the first call, at the first command, when needed.

At the same time, the head of Energoatom points out that the number of Russian military personnel has increased at ZNPP itself. The occupiers keep there many weapons, trucks, equipment and private cars which they took away from civilians.

However, according to Kotin, the Russians will not build a line of defence at the nuclear power plant itself, but will quickly leave it.
