Occupants hit Zaporizhzhya: four dead, 18 wounded, among them children

According to the head of the region, the shelling hit residential houses and a hospital. There are reports of casualties, as well as at least one dead person. Five hits were recorded in the city, the rescue operation continues. Two children have been extracted from under the rubble, but there may still be people under the rubble.

According to the State Service of Ukraine for Emergency Situations (SSES), a four-storey residential building has been partially destroyed. Rescuers rescued a child from under the rubble and handed him over to medics. The search and rescue operation continues.

At another address a medical centre was damaged by a blast wave, a car caught fire, the fire was extinguished by rescuers. At two more addresses, 11 one-storey houses were damaged. The fire was liquidated on the spot, - is specified in the message.

According to preliminary data, one person was killed, 16 wounded, two rescued. The number of injured is specified. At 16:50 the number of wounded increased to 17 people, among them three children: a four-month-old girl and boys 1 and 10 years old. By 17:31, Fedorov said that the number of dead had risen to four people and the injured to 18.
