New exchange: 107 Ukrainian defenders returned from captivity

74 fighters defended Azovstal.

This was stated by the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak.

We managed to exchange the seriously wounded and bedridden from Mariupol, from Azovstal, guys with shrapnel wounds to their arms and legs, gunshot wounds to different parts of the body ... Many of our guys were injured back in March. The state will do everything necessary to help each of them.

Among those who returned home are six officers, 101 privates and sergeants, defenders from the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Navy, the Troop, the State Border Service, the National Police, the State Special Service of Transport and the National Guard, including three Azov fighters.

Basically, those who returned from captivity are seriously wounded soldiers. Among them are people with amputated limbs, burns and infected wounds. One fighter was wounded as a result of a Russian terrorist attack in the Yelenovskaya colony.
