There should be no neutrality during war - Zelensky

The President is grateful to those partners who help Ukraine with military equipment, weapons and financially.

The countries that decide to weaken support for Ukraine amid Russia's full-scale invasion, or even do not support Kiev at all, thereby strengthen the Russian Federation. This was stated by Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a meeting with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Ottawa, the press service of the Office of the President said on its official website.

The Ukrainian leader emphasised that there should be no neutrality or mediation in the issue of war and each country should take a clear position - with whom it.

You help Ukraine or Russia. There will be no mediators in this war. By weakening aid to Ukraine, you will strengthen Russia. And a powerful Russia and what to expect from it... I think history has long answered this in books and witnesses," the president said.

Zelensky noted that by reducing aid to Kiev - democracies are taking a risk. As the ongoing war is not only for territories, it has an ideological character.

One should fight for freedom, for democracy, for people's rights," Zelensky emphasised.

The President thanked those partners who help Ukraine with military equipment, weapons and financially. At the same time, he noted that"the biggest price Ukraine is paying for this today is people and the number of deaths".

We would like to point out that on 22 September, Zelensky arrived in Canada. He held talks with Justin Trudeau and said that they discussed Ukraine's defence needs, further financial and humanitarian support, economic and investment cooperation.
