Citizens of Belarus, who fought in the PMC "Wagner" and were captured in Ukraine, appealed to Alexander Lukashenko with a request for an exchange.

The appeal of prisoners of war Maksim Zyuziunchyk and Andrei Herilovich was published by the project I Want to Live.

The mercenaries appealed to Lukashenka and other Belarusian officials with a request to exchange them for POWs of the AFU or political prisoners held in Belarus or the Russian Federation.

If the exchange does not take place, anything can happen. We don't know how much we are ours for you. But we hope that you will take us back. Somewhere we did wrong: we have our own ideology, while our enemy has another... If you need us, we ask for this exchange to take place as soon as possible," said Zuziunchik.

It is reported that both mercenaries, who fought against Ukraine as part of the PMC Wagner, have been in Ukrainian captivity since autumn 2022.
