In his speech during his visit to Ukraine, the NATO Secretary General focused on the threats posed to the free world by the Russian Federation and its partners.
Stoltenberg paid tribute to the courage of the Ukrainian people and the AFU, which are resisting Russian aggression. He stressed that Ukraine's future membership in NATO should protect it from new threats.
The speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, described the NATO secretary-general's visit to the Rada as "a clear and unambiguous signal to everyone: Ukrainians, international partners and the enemy that Ukraine is not alone in its fight against the aggressor".
According to Stefanchuk, he discussed with the NATO secretary-general the security situation and defence needs of Ukriana in its fight against the aggressor.
