A Ukrainian flag develops over the Antonivsky bridge
Russian troops fled to the left bank of the Dnieper River, including over the Antonov Bridge.
Members of the Ukrainian Armed Forces hoisted the national flag over the destroyed Antonivsky bridge in Kherson Region
We would like to point out that the Antonovsky Bridge was a key logistical hub which allowed the mass transfer of military equipment and personnel between the left and right banks of the Dnieper River in the Kherson direction. After the partial destruction of this bridge, the Russian occupant grouping on the right bank was largely cut off from reliable supplies. While retreating from Kherson, the occupants blew up several spans.
We would like to add that the Ukrainian Defence Ministry said that the Ukrainian flag was also hoisted over the village of Lvivo, Berislav district, Kherson Region.
