Mobilised from Irkutsk recorded an appeal to Putin, Russian Defence Minister Shoigu and the Irkutsk authorities.

This was reported by the BBC, citing the Baikal People newspaper

The paper reports that the mobilised men complained that they had been trained to serve in territorial defence, but then formed an assault unit of them, even though they had no relevant training.

The second appeal-complaint was recorded by the mobilized men in the form of a video message to Putin. The mobilized men claimed that they had been "subordinated to the first Slavic brigade of the DNR", where they "in one day formed an assault unit and sent to storm the Avdiivka fortification without any support".

The wives of the Irkutsk mobilisers delivered a third appeal to the editorial board of People of Baikal.

The publication reports:

However, after the second video, Irkutsk Region Governor Igor Kobzev said he had appealed to the military prosecutor's office and promised to transfer the mobilised men "to a new place of service".

"We have been waiting for a transfer (to the military defense - ed.), but we have not been transferred anywhere," the People of Baikal newspaper quoted the mobilized men as saying.
