"Knife-throwing target". How UOC MP guards at the Lavra handled an 18th-century door
The guards were throwing knives at the doors.
This was reported by the Ministry of Culture on its Telegram page.
The ministry, citing the acting director of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra preserve Maxim Ostapenko, said that the doors of the 18th century were used as a target for throwing knives.
The video clearly shows that the ancient eighteenth-century doors, which were in the room assigned to guard the Lavra, are badly damaged. Apparently, UOC MP guards simply barbarically threw knives at the historic doors.

It is worth recalling that on 10 March 2023, the Culture Ministry urged the UOC MP's Holy Dormition Monastery to vacate the territory of Kyiv Pechersk Lavra by 29 March.
