Military analyst: a massive strike across the entire territory of Ukraine is possible in the coming days

Oleg Zhdanov, a well-known military analyst in Ukraine, warned that a Russian military aircraft that had taken off in the space of Belarus could collect intelligence data about the location of our air defense

On July 13, for me, as a military man, a significant event took place, which, as I understand it, no one paid attention to in the media. Half an hour before the start of negotiations on grain in Istanbul, an air alert was announced throughout Ukraine. At the same time, an A-50 aircraft intended for long-range radar detection was in the airspace of Belarus. This aircraft fixes the targets and then gives the coordinates to the pilots and ground troops for a missile strike. It turns out that an air raid has been declared in Ukraine, our air defense systems are turning on radars for active mode - and at that time he was fixing them. This can be compared to a Christmas tree garland laid out on the floor in a dark room. And in the dark, the lights start to turn on in turn. And you fix where which bulb turned on. It should be noted that the country's air defense system is mostly stationary. But even if these are mobile complexes, they need time to change positions. And during the change of positions, they will be outside the combat duty system, - Oleg Zhdanov said in an interview with UKRLIFE TV.

It will take about a day to process intelligence information, according to the analyst. And from that moment on, Russian aviation will be ready for a massive missile attack on our air defense system. In this case, Kh-32 missiles with a range of 600 to 1000 km can be used. They can cover the entire territory of Ukraine if they strike from the Crimea and Belarus.

This is only an assumption, not a statement, and God forbid that it does not come true, - Oleg Zhdanov emphasized.

A-50: what kind of aircraft is this?

This is a Soviet and Russian airborne early warning and control aircraft. Adopted in 1989.

The A-50 was created on the basis of the Il-76 military transport aircraft to replace the old Tu-126. The Shmel radio-technical complex, which forms the A-50 radar patrol and guidance aviation complex, was added to the new aircraft.

The purpose of the AWACS A-50 is to identify and track air and surface targets, alert the Armed Forces about the air and surface situation.

Also, the A-50 can serve as a command post and be used to control fighters and strike aircraft when they are aimed at specific targets.
