The instruction was a response to an electronic petition, the author of which asked Zelensky to introduce a mandatory exam that everyone would have to take to obtain Ukrainian citizenship.
It is reported by the publication Interfax.
Thus, Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to an electronic petition about the need to introduce a mandatory exam for obtaining Ukrainian citizenship.
The issue of introducing a mandatory exam for obtaining citizenship of Ukraine will require a legislative settlement ... Therefore, I turned to the Prime Minister of Ukraine D. Shmygal with a request to comprehensively work out the issue that was raised in the electronic petition, the answer to the petition says.
It is noted that the author of the electronic petition will be informed about the results of the consideration of the issues raised.
