Women's rights advocated by the international community go against Islamic beliefs, the Taliban said.

Women will be executed as punishment for adultery in Afghanistan. This was announced by the leader of the terrorist group Hibatullah Akhundzada. According to him, the Taliban intend to fight against "Western influence" in Afghanistan, and Sharia law allows the execution of women.

You may call it a violation of women's rights when we publicly stone them for committing adultery because it goes against your democratic principles. But I represent Allah and you represent Satan," said Haibatullah Akhundzada.

In addition to stoning women, the country also intends to return to the practice of public flogging.

It should be noted that despite the fact that the Taliban are officially banned in the Russian Federation, this does not prevent the authorities from receiving them in Moscow as supposedly "sane people" (according to the words of the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry).

"The Taliban came to power in Afghanistan in 2021. The country's constitution and penal code were suspended. They were effectively replaced by a fundamentalist interpretation of sharia law. at the same time, education for women became completely inaccessible. They cannot visit beauty parlours, parks, gyms or public baths. Girls may not travel more than 78 kilometres or be accompanied by a man or close relative. They are also not allowed to visit a doctor if the doctor is male.

According to Afghan Witness, a research group that monitors human rights in Afghanistan, Taliban-appointed judges have handed down 417 judgements of public floggings and executions in the past year alone. In 57 of those cases, the victims were women.
