The Crimean bridge is engulfed in thick smoke
Locals report that explosions have been heard on the illegally built Crimean bridge.
Explosions were heard on the Crimean bridge connecting the Russian-occupied peninsula with the territory of the Russian Federation. The Crimean Wind Telegram channel reported that the movement of motor vehicles across the bridge was temporarily blocked. There was information about possible serious damage to the bridge. Dense smoke is rising around the overpass.
Russian "authorities" claim the work of air defence forces.
In the area of the Kerch Strait air defence forces shot down two enemy missiles. The Crimean bridge is not damaged. Please keep calm and trust only official sources of information," Crimean Gauleiter Sergey Aksyonov said.
In turn, Aksyonov's adviser Oleg Kryuchkov claims that the smoke around the bridge is a "smoke screen put up by special services" and not the consequences of the "arrival".
According to the Crimean Wind channel, coastguard boats and helicopters rushed to the Crimean bridge.
