Kremlin does not abandon attempts to drag Minsk into war - intelligence report
The intelligence service told about the Kremlin's attempts to drag Belarus into the war.
Russian Federation considers the involvement of the Belarusian army in a ground operation in the war against Ukraine as a strategic task. This was stated by a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, Andriy Yusov, on air on Radio NV.
There is a strategic task of the Kremlin - to involve the Belarusian army in a full-scale ground operation in the war against Ukraine on the side of the Russian Federation. And during the whole period of the full-scale invasion, it has not succeeded. But, nevertheless, the Russian special services will not abandon their attempts," said Yusov commenting on the information of the CNS about the preparation of the operation under a foreign flag by the Russian FSB and KGB of Belarus against the oil depot in Brest voblast.
He noted that Minsk understands who is really behind the above-mentioned attempts and realises that war is not in their interests.
However, Russia will not leave attempts to "provoke" the country in the future," he emphasises.
Yusov pointed out that Russia has all the necessary information about all critical infrastructure on the territory of the ally, as well as about all the strengths and weaknesses of the country, its special services and army.
This information has been used and will be used both against Ukraine and Belarus itself. There are many such scenarios. From simulated DRGs, the use of drones on the infrastructure facilities of the energy sector, and many other things. In this context, the Russians should not be underestimated. Their rich experience: the bombing of Voronezh, the bombing of houses of their own, with their own civilians, and many other scenarios," explained Yusov.
Recall, the Centre for National Resistance reported that the FSB of Russia and the KGB of Belarus had agreed to conduct an operation "under a foreign flag" against one of the objects on the territory of Belarus in order to accuse the Ukrainian side. In particular, the enemy considers the oil depot "BRESTOBLNEFTEPRODUCT" near the village of Priluki Brestskaya, which is not far from the Belarusian-Polish border, as a target for a terrorist attack.
