Klitschko: Kiev authorities are working to solve problems at a record pace
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski on Friday criticised the Kiev authorities for the poor organisation of the so-called "points of indestructibility".
The Kiev authorities are working on restoring the capital's energy facilities at a record pace, Kiev mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has said.
On the previous day, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy criticized the city authorities for the poor organization of the operation of the so-called "indestructible points" - specially equipped places where residents can keep warm, charge their gadgets or get water
The president said that there were many complaints from Kiev residents about the work of these points and threatened officials that "no one will forgive profanity and lies in reports.
Kiev mayor Vitaliy Klitschko explained that the city authorities are working to solve the problems at a "record pace":
Kiev has water and 95% heating again, now we are working to get electricity everywhere
Klitschko stressed that Kiev residents must be prepared for "difficult days and weeks":
Fortunately, it is not so cold yet, but in the coming days it is expected to get colder to almost minus 10 degrees. This will be a big challenge for every resident of our city
In turn, DTEK reported that in the capital of Ukraine since November 26, emergency blackouts should last not more than 5 hours in a row:
We understand that the prolonged absence of light makes life difficult for residents of Kyiv. Therefore, starting November 26, DTEK Kyiv Power Grid will turn on the light to all residents in such a way that the power outage for each customer will not exceed 5 hours. Stabilization schedules are not in effect yet. This regime will be in effect until the power generation deficit is reduced and the situation in the power system stabilizes
The company asks those who still have no light after the RF attack, i.e. from November 23 to November 26, or who will have no light for more than 5 hours from November 26 - to inform DTEK Kyiv Power Grid via its online channel: https://t.me/DTEKKyivskielectromerezhibot in Telegram
