China to send its representative for Eurasian affairs to Ukraine
China's special representative for Eurasian affairs will soon arrive in Ukraine.
This was reported by Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying on Twitter.
Other members of the delegation for the peaceful settlement of the "Ukrainian crisis" will travel to Ukraine with the Chinese representative.
China will send the Chinese government's special representative for Eurasia to Ukraine and other countries for in-depth communication with all parties regarding the political settlement of the crisis in Ukraine... We hope that all sides will seriously discuss the crisis in Ukraine and jointly explore ways to establish lasting peace and stability in Europe through dialogue," she wrote.
It has become known that Li Hui will be China's special representative. Who has been Beijing's ambassador to Russia for ten years (2009-2019). Additionally, Vladimir Putin awarded the diplomat with the Order of Friendship in 2019.
It is not yet known when Li Hui will arrive in Ukraine and which countries he will visit before that.
As a reminder, China's decision to send its representative to Ukraine became known after Xi Jingping's conversation with Vladimir Zelensky. Also today, the President has appointed the new ambassador of Ukraine to China. Pavlo Ryabkin, former minister for strategic industries, has become the new ambassador.
