In Munich, opponents of arms supplies to Ukraine tried to disrupt German Chancellor Olaf Scholz's speech at an SPD election event.

Another section of those gathered at the speech reportedly supported the chancellor with applause.
Radical and right-wing populist movements, including the Alternative for Germany party, called on their supporters to disrupt the event.
The police set up fences in the square and more than 200 police officers provided law and order protection.
