What items in the house are regularly forgotten to be washed, but they are very dirty
Cleaning is not just a ritual in the house and a guarantee of hygiene, which means the health of the household.
Most owners regularly carry out general cleaning in the house and have their own “obligatory” places for cleaning and washing. However, even the cleanest often forget to clean surfaces that are actually very dirty. Which ones, they told in Limon.
The experts indicated which items should not be skipped during cleaning and due attention should be paid to their cleanliness.
TV remote
Even if it seems to you that you do not watch TV too often and even more so switch channels, you should pay due attention to this subject. It often leaves greasy spots and skin flakes invisible to the eye. This is an ideal breeding ground for bacteria, and therefore the disinfection of the remote control will not be superfluous.
door hands
They are small, do not catch the eye, and therefore even an experienced hostess can ignore them. However, it is worth paying attention to them. All family members use door handles and do it regularly. Especially dirty are the handles in the kitchen, bathroom and toilet.
Doorknobs need to be wiped more often than you wash the floor, as bacteria, viruses and other pathogens settle on them, experts warn.
Curtain in the bathroom
This subject is also often forgotten. Others believe that since the curtain is in close proximity to the water, then by default it is clean. But the truth is that the bathroom curtain should be washed at least twice a month. It often remains moist, and this serves as an ideal breeding ground for bacteria.
If yellow-brown stains appear on it from the water, then soak it in citric acid or vinegar. Then take baking soda, a sponge and clean it properly by hand, experts advise.
Dish sponge
Experts recommend changing it every week. It is also possible to wash it in the washing machine. Just do not forget that doing this with a sponge many times will not work - it will become thin and will not wash the dishes well.
Cutting boards
Kitchen boards need to be treated regularly with a disinfectant, and once a year they need to be changed. Microcracks form on plastic and on wood, in which bacteria multiply.
