Russian army shells Kherson from the left bank, injuring one person.
The city centre is under fire and there are unexploded shells on the coast. This was reported by local telegraph channels.
According to preliminary information, the arrivals were recorded in the central part of the city and the Korabelnyy district. The shelling of Kherson continues.
It is noted that one of the shells fell in the waterfront area of Kherson and did not disintegrate. Locals are urged to be as cautious as possible and not to publish photos and videos of the "arrivals".
The Ukrainian Interior Ministry adds that the shelling of the city began during the evacuation of people affected by the destruction of the Kakhovskaya hydropower plant. The enemy is deliberately hitting the evacuation sites.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, there are currently three victims. A civilian woman, a policeman and a rescuer are injured. They are being provided with the necessary assistance.
