Dolphins die because of war, bodies of animals met in Bulgaria
Environmentalists are concerned about the deaths of dolphins in the waters of the Black Sea. The bodies of animals continue to be found in different countries.
This is reported in the National Natural Park "Tuzlovskie Limans".
During July, the bodies of dolphins were found on the shores of the north-western part of the Black Sea, on the shores of occupied Crimea, on the shores of Krasnodar Krai in Sochi and Novorossiysk. Similar cases were recorded in Bulgaria.
It is noted that the most affected are afalines - this is one of the species of dolphins. They die because of the military load.
But it should be noted that now the enemy submarines are very far from our shores compared to what it was last year and the total number of dead animals now is much less than from the impact of military sonar of submarines and surface boats in the last military year, - added conservationists.
According to their data, at least 50,000 Black Sea cetaceans died in 2022 due to military action.
Earlier Socialportal reported that after the Russian terrorist attack on the Kakhovka reservoir killed a lot of animals. In particular, the current brought the bodies of dead dolphins to the shores of the Black Sea in Bulgaria and Turkey. In addition, about 95 tonnes of fish died because of the explosion of the hydroelectric power plant . Among the affected animals there are also red-listed amphibians - 149 dead newts were brought to the shore of the Black Sea.
