Retired Lieutenant General Ben Hodges, the former commander of the US Army in Europe, says the M-1 battalion can consume up to 600,000 gallons of fuel a day, which could hinder Ukraine's advance.

Another source from the US government adds that in addition to tanks from America, spare parts for maintenance should also be delivered to Ukraine. And this is quite a difficult task.

At the same time, Ukraine's request for Western tanks has become relevant again in light of Putin's announcement of mobilization in Russia.
