In occupied Mariupol, drinking water is life-threatening
The occupation authorities of Mariupol pass the collected water from rivers and lakes as drinking water.
This was reported by the adviser to the Mariupol mayor Petr Andryushchenko.
He claims that the water distributed by the occupiers in Mariupol cannot be drunk. According to the mayor's adviser, water is collected in the Kalchik River, and this was also confirmed by the study.
Water analyzes showed that E. coli and enterococci are present in excess of the norm. These are pathogenic bacteria that enter the water due to proximity to fecal sewage.
Water for analysis was taken out specifically for research and transferred to the Zaporozhye laboratory center. Drinking this quality of water can lead to an outbreak of infectious diseases.
