A sniper is a priority target for the enemy. In the battles for Bakhmut, the enemy did not spare a 120-mm mine for a Ukrainian sniper with the call sign "Apetkar".

A Ukrainian sniper of the State Border Service with the call sign "Aptekar" has told about the battles for Bakhmut. The corresponding video was published by the State Border Service on 21 June.

The sniper "Aptekar" is a volunteer. He joined the Ukrainian Border Guard Service at the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.

During a year of combat operations, the Ukrainian warrior saw a lot of grief, lost fellow soldiers and was seriously wounded.

During the fighting for Bakhmut, I was wounded in the arm. A sniper is a priority target for the enemy. That's why they didn't even spare a 120th mine for me. The tourniquet held for four hours, my arm was completely black. But I didn't lose hope of recovering it," the fighter says.

The sniper is sure that in war one cannot underestimate the enemy.

They have their own strategy, it's bloody and merciless for them, but it's effective," says the "Apothecary".

Doctors put the border guard's arm back together literally piece by piece. And now the sniper "Aptekar" is back in action.

He is convinced that the strategy of quality planning and a balanced approach to the fulfilment of tasks will defeat the Russian calculation on quantity.

Earlier Socialportal reported that a Ukrainian sniper shot down a Russian ZALA drone, which became a trophy for our military.
