Ukrainian hackers carried out a large-scale DDoS attack on the Russian banking payment system on 20 June. This was reported by IT ARMY of Ukraine.

When we promised yesterday to put the entire banking system of the enemy, it was not empty words. Because today even more banks are switched off together with their import-substituted card payment system "Mir", and accordingly all card settlements, - reported in IT ARMY of Ukraine.

Russia's VTB, Sberbank, Tinkoff, Alfa-Bank, Beeline, MTS, Rostelecom, Gazprombank, Megafon, SBP, NSPK, EIRC, and many smaller services are reported to be down for now.

This may be the largest DDoS attack in history! And it was done by you and me. For peace, for freedom, for our values! - ukrainian hackers said.

Earlier Socialportal reported that Ukrainian hackers suspended the work of the main provider of Russian banks Mastertel.
