As a result of the explosion, the plant itself, the missiles mounted on it and personnel were completely destroyed

The explosion occurred on 23 August 2023 at around 10.00 near the village of Olenevka on Cape Tarkhankut in temporarily occupied Crimea, the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry has said. It also showed a video of the destruction of the Russian S-400.

Given the limited number of such complexes in the enemy's inventory, this is a painful blow to the occupants' air defence system, which will have a serious impact on further developments in occupied Crimea," the ministry said.

Earlier about explosions near Yelenovka reported Crimean media. In particular, it was noted that the locals heard seven explosions and smoke was visible.

The occupation authorities on the peninsula did not comment.

Earlier, Socialportal reported that Russians are flooding ferries to protect the Kerch bridge.
