General Staff: The fiercest fighting continues for Bakhmut and Marinka

This was reported in a report by the Ukrainian Armed Forces' General Staff.

The Ukrainian military repelled 54 enemy attacks during the day. The fiercest battles are taking place outside the Ukrainian towns of Bakhmut and Marinka.

The enemy concentrates its main efforts on carrying out offensive actions in the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka directions. Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 54 enemy attacks in the aforementioned areas of the front. Fierce battles continue for Bakhmut and Marinka.

In addition, according to the General Staff of the AFU, over the past 24 hours the enemy carried out 7 missile and 39 air strikes, and 61 rocket launchers fired on positions of our troops and critical infrastructure of populated areas.

Over the past 24 hours, the aviation of the Defence Forces of Ukraine carried out 11 strikes on the occupier's staging areas. Six enemy unmanned aerial vehicles were also destroyed. The units of missile troops and artillery struck two air defence facilities and two more important military facilities of the enemy.
