Retired US general Ben Hodges tells how to retake Crimea

Ben Hodges: If we don't help Ukraine get the peninsula back, we are guaranteed to get the next phase of war in a few years.

In an interview with the Atlantic Council, retired US General Ben Hodges said:

It is not necessary to throw tanks into storming Perekop to liberate the peninsula. To do so, Hodges is convinced, it is enough to regularly bombard its supply routes - the Kerch bridge and the land corridor through occupied Melitopol.

Hodges also believes that Crimea will be liberated before the end of the coming summer - August 2023. In addition, he added that he is more confident in his prediction today than a month ago.
