Where in Kyiv you can get humanitarian aid

Those in need are given clothes, shoes, food.

Recently, the number of internally displaced persons who fled the war has sharply increased in Kyiv, leaving their house, clothes, shoes, household items, children's toys, even food in the refrigerator in their small homeland. Someone has already been able to find a place of residence, a job. However, almost all of them have a very difficult time, even if we talk only about everyday life.

To make their stay in Kyiv more comfortable and help them overcome temporary difficulties, humanitarian centers have been organized in Kyiv to help such people with things and products. In particular, the KSCA reports that more than 30,000 IDPs have already been registered in the capital.

According to the first deputy chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Mykola Povoroznik, most of the internally displaced persons are from Kiev, Donetsk and Chernihiv regions. Basically, they registered in Darnitsky, Dneprovsky and Svyatoshinsky districts.

He noted that people who experience certain difficulties can seek help.

To get it, you need to contact the district departments of social protection of the population. After that, you can get help in the territorial service centers for citizens,” said Povoroznyk.

In this case, you must have the status of an IDP. In order to get it, you need to contact the district departments of social protection of the population or the centers for the provision of administrative services, or submit it through the Diya mobile application.

It should be noted that there are more than 100 thousand internally displaced persons in the capital, and their number continues to grow. According to Povoroznyk, more than 100,000 sets of long-term storage products were prepared by the Humanitarian Center of Kyiv for internally displaced persons.

We have prepared a sufficient number of food packages, which will be enough for all internally displaced persons registered in the capital. In the event of an increase in registered IDPs in the capital, we are ready to prepare additional sets in the required quantity as soon as possible. In addition, we do not limit the registration of IDPs to receive these kits by any time frame, and, according to our calculations, it will last at least until the end of October, which is why there is no need to form long queues at the ATCs - there will be enough food for everyone, - said Mykola Povoroznik .
