Over the past few days and in Luhansk Region alone, 52 Russian servicemen have voluntarily surrendered to the AFU.

The head of the Luhansk OVA, Serhiy Haidai, said this during a TV marathon.

Haidai stressed that Russian soldiers "are simply dumped in forest belts"

Ukraine guarantees those who lay down arms voluntarily humane treatment and a fair trial as guaranteed by the Geneva conventions and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The OVA head also noted that the Russians had stepped up mobilization in the occupied Luhansk region:

subpoenas are now handed out to men while passing checkpoints.
