French Foreign Ministry says it will not send troops to Ukraine

French President Macron recently said that EU countries are discussing the possible sending of troops to Ukraine.

France will not send its troops to Ukraine to take part in hostilities. French Foreign Minister Stephane Sejournet said this on France Inter.

The French will not die for Ukraine. We will not send troops," the Minister assured.

He noted that "a clear framework has been set: to defeat Russia without waging war against it. In this context, nothing is excluded."

According to him, Putin has increased the nuclear threat because of the fact that partners continue to support Ukraine.

French President Macron recently said that EU countries are discussing the possible sending of their troops to Ukraine in the future. He noted that no consensus has been reached yet.

After his words, a number of NATO countries made statements that they did not consider sending their troops to Ukraine and their participation in the war with Russia.
