Former Ukrainian education minister calls for ethnocide of Ukrainians
Former Minister of Education Tabachnyk called for de-Ukrainization of Ukraine.
The former Ukrainian education minister during the time of fugitive President Viktor Yanukovych, Dmytro Tabachnyk, has called on Russia to "de-Ukrainianise and Russify" Ukraine.
Journalist Denys Kazansky drew attention to this.
In other words, he actually called for ethnocide. The journalist pointed out that the Ukrainian people were forced to abandon their roots, language and culture.
He stressed that Tabachnyk deliberately did not use the word "denazification", but stressed the need to de-Ukrainianise Ukrainians.
Their goal is not to fight against nationalism (this is just a pretext), but to destroy the ethnic group," Kazanskyy emphasised.
Kazantsev noted that this is a very important confession of the traitor Tabachnyk, which explains why Ukrainian citizens went to the Maidan in 2014 and why Ukrainians simply had no other choice.
He also reminded that Tabachnyk is currently living in Russia and is in favour of bombing the former homeland and the voters who gladly voted for him in the elections.
Dmytro Tabachnyk headed the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine during the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych - from March 2010 to February 2014. After the Revolution of Dignity he fled to the Russian Federation.
In November 2022, according to the materials of the SBU, Tabachnyk was reported on suspicion under part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code ("high treason committed under martial law"). In 2024, the Vinnytsia city court sentenced former Education and Science Minister Dmytro Tabachnyk to 15 years in prison in absentia in a case of high treason (part 2 of article 111 of the Criminal Code).
Last year, Volodymyr Zelenskyy stripped five former officials from the Yanukovych presidency of their Ukrainian citizenship, including former Education Minister Dmytro Tabachnyk.
