Financial peak: who in Ukraine have reduced salaries
The economic crisis caused by the war took a toll on the wallets of many.
The sharp crisis in the labor market in Ukraine is a logical continuation of the war into which the country was drawn. Many of the citizens have lost their jobs, it has become much more difficult for the employer to pay salaries and simply keep afloat. Some of the heads of enterprises and organizations were forced to cut wages for their employees. This is reported grc.ua portal.
The largest drop in average wages was recorded in the extraction of raw materials. In July, open vacancies in this area were offered an average of UAH 15,800, while a month earlier - UAH 25,300, which means that the salary decreased by more than a third.
Less began to pay in hotels, restaurants and tourist complexes. In July, the average salary in this area amounted to UAH 16,700.
Bank employees were also asked to tighten their belts. Now they are offered UAH 17,500, which is 6.9% less than in June.
The decrease in payments was also felt by:
- security guards (average salary - UAH 9,700, reduction - 11%);
- HR managers (UAH 22,800, reduction - 20%);
- workers (UAH 12,800, reduction - 6.5%).
- agrarians (UAH 17,100, decrease - 10.9%),
- builders (UAH 22,800, reduction - 12%).
Lawyers and insurers suffered financially. There are practically no jobs for them. At least in open positions. If lawyers still manage to get a job, they are offered an average of UAH 15,500, insurance services workers - UAH 13,500.
The top specialists with the lowest payments in July included workers of various specializations (average salary - UAH 12,800), security guards (UAH 9,700), workers without experience (on average, they are ready to give them UAH 9,500 monthly).
Note that the inflation report of the National Bank of Ukraine says that the unemployment rate in the country jumped to 35%. They also noted that the real picture could be different if all those who went abroad would return. Then the unemployment rate would be even higher.
