Farmers predicted how much food prices will rise by the end of the year
Food prices will rise somewhere by 10-15%.
The forecast was made by the Deputy Chairman of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council Denys Marchuk.
In the near future, due to the adoption of the Law on the excise tax on fuel, gasoline and diesel fuel will rise in price somewhere in the region of 4-5 hryvnias. That is, it will lay the foundation for the formation of food prices. Not the last role is played by high inflation. We will see prices rise in the area by another 10-15%,” he said.
The main factors that affect the rise in prices are war, disruption of supply chains, prices for fuels and lubricants, the hryvnia exchange rate against the dollar.
It is worth recalling that the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council has already warned about the rise in prices for vegetables at the end of autumn by 10-15%.
